We only collect what we need to respond to your enquiry, prepare a proposal, and deliver your booking.

Any notes you add to help us prepare your journey (dietary requirements, special occasion, preferences)

Basic technical data such as browser type, device type, pages visited, and approximate location (city level), collected through cookies and analytics
Cookies set by our website host (Squarespace) and, where applicable, by analytics or social media tools. See Section 7 below.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16. We do not ask for or store payment card numbers on our website. Any payments are processed through a separate, secure provider.

We keep the circle small. Your information is only shared with:
Our captain and crew · so they can prepare the yacht and deliver your journey safely
Selected service partners · chefs, photographers, DJs, florists, and similar providers, only when you have specifically booked them as part of your experience. They receive only what is strictly necessary (your name, date of the journey, guest count, and relevant preferences)
Our website and email providers · Squarespace (website hosting and contact form), and our email provider, who process data on our behalf under strict agreements
Payment providers · when invoicing a booking. They handle their own privacy under their own terms
Our accountant and tax authorities · where required by Portuguese law
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for advertising purposes
6. Where your information is stored
Your information is stored on servers within the European Union wherever possible. Some of our tools (such as Squarespace) may transfer data to countries outside the EU. When that happens, we rely on the safeguards provided by GDPR, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Confirmed bookings · for as long as needed to deliver the journey, plus a retention period required by Portuguese accounting and tax law (usually up to 10 years for invoices)
Website analytics · typically up to 14 months
Mailing list · until you unsubscribe
9. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to:

Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
Delete your information, where we are not legally required to keep it
